Dr. Ferheen Shamim
Dr. Ferheen Shamim is a board certified sports medicine physician who specializes in sports injuries, concussion care, biologic therapies, and more.
Dr. Shamim received her bachelor’s degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY, before graduating from Albany Medical College in Albany, NY, with a distinction in bioethics.
She then completed her residency training in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the Thomas Jefferson Medical Residency Program in Philadelphia, PA. During her final year in the program, Dr. Shamim was elected and served as Chief Resident.
After residency, Dr. Shamim completed her fellowship in sports medicine with a concentration in non-operative management of orthopedic conditions at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, CA.
Dr. Shamim has a passion for sports medicine and enjoys helping athletes of all ages get back to doing what they love. She believes a personalized rehabilitation program can help alleviate many orthopedic conditions.
